Do I need to make an appointment to bring in my device?
No appointment is needed. We’ll give you an estimate for the repair cost and the time it will take to repair. Most repairs can be done while you wait.
Can I choose to leave my device and pick it up later?
Yes. We’ll keep your device safely locked away. It will never leave our store.
What if I forget to pick up my device?
If you’ve left your device with us to perform diagnostics or a more complex repair, we’ll try to contact you at the phone number and/or email address to remind you to pick up your device. Any device not picked up 30 days after the repair is completed will become the property of Cell Phone Repair Masters.
Can you fix all devices while I wait?
We stock parts for all of the popular / current phones and even some of the not so current and unpopular phones. But we cannot stock parts for ALL phones, thus some parts may have to be ordered, which can take a few days to get. Our CERTIFIED technicians can repair most devices when you wait. However, a more complex case, such as water damage or a defective internal board may require that we keep the phone overnight and perform diagnostics. If this is the case, we’ll ask you to pay a non-refundable Diagnostic Fee of $19.95. If you decide you want us to repair your device, we’ll apply the $19.95 to the cost of the repair.
Do you offer any type of warranty on your repairs?
Yes. All Repair Services come with a 90 day Parts & Labor Warranty. If you have any issues with our work, contact us. We guarantee to correct the problem in a timely manner, or issue you a full refund.
So I tried to fix my device on my own and now it’s in pieces. Can you help me?
Absolutely. Don’t be embarrassed about not being able to get it back together. We’d have to take it apart anyway. And if you lost some pieces somewhere, chances are we have them in stock.
Do you need my device password?
Yes. If there is a password on the device, it hinders our ability to test all the functions. Please provide your password when you drop off your phone. If you do not wish to provide your password, certain phone functions cannot be tested and will not be covered under the warranty.
My device fell into water. Should I let it dry out to see if works before I bring it in?
Devices can sometimes begin working again on their own after water damage. However, it is very uncommon and is not a likely outcome. It is more likely that corrosion and residue deposits will begin to form on the logic board making the repair process more difficult. We recommend bringing the phone in as soon as possible even if it is still wet. Oh, and don’t waste your time with putting it in rice, that only wicks out the surface moisture.
